Sensex slips 334 points; Nifty ends at 15,635

Equity indices plunged on Wednesday with the benchmark BSE sensex falling over 300 points dragged by realty, banking and auto stocks. The 30-share BSE index fell 334 points or 0.64 per cent to close at 51,942; while the broader NSE Nifty settled 105 points or 0.67 per cent lower at 15,635.
