ALDOT to close multiple lanes along busy stretch of I-20

The Alabama Department of Transportation will have multiple lanes closed along I-20 this week. Paving work on the eastbound and westbound lanes between the Leeds exit at milepost 140 and the Brompton exit at milepost 148 began Sunday evening. Work will continue through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily on the eastbound side and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. in the middle lane of the westbound side and to 6 a.m. on the outside or inside lane.
