TNT Mines Ltd has discovered a new footwall zone of high-grade gold north of the Eureka Pit at Eureka Project north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, with hits up to 4 metres at 32.08 g/t gold. With the second reverse circulation (RC) drilling program concluded, all TNT's planned RC drilling has been completed for a total of 3,537 metres and 29 holes, including one re-entered hole. Assays have now been received and will be incorporated into the existing resource model with a further resource update to follow. Notable intersections from the Northern Area and including the new footwall zone are: 4 metres at 32.08 g/t gold from 104 metres, including 1-metre at 116 g/t from 104 metres and 5 metres at 1.48 g/t from 47 metres in hole WRRC0106; 8 metres at 1.38 g/t from 66 metres; and 3 metres at 2.38 g/t from 115 metres. “Busy second half of 2021” Speaking to the results, chief executive officer Matthew Boyes said: “The discovery of this new footwall zone in the northern extension area demonstrates the potential that still exists for additional ounces to be found on the Eureka property." Aircore drilling from the 1.2-kilometre geochemistry anomaly to the southeast of the Eureka pit has also been completed with assay results pending. Boyes said: “We are in for a busy second half of 2021 with results pending from our first aircore program to the south of the Eureka pit and the IP survey targeting the intrusive related mineralisation discovered at Reids Ridge. “We look forward to updating the market as results and new information becomes available.” Resource growth update Previous historic drilling had intersected mineralisation in the northern area with quartz visible in historic chips although these intervals were not assayed. Hole WRRC0106 was drilled around 240 metres northeast of the current pit into a previously untested structure. Importantly, the lower structure intersected in this hole has not been previously intersected in any historical drilling to date and opens up a new target area for future drilling. Follow up drilling to test the new structure along strike and down dip from hole WRRC0106 is now planned and will begin once all pending assays from the recently completed Eureka South aircore program have been received and interpreted and a rig is secured. Results from the Southern Area comprise 6 metres at 13.88 g/t from 38 metres, including 1-metre at 56.6 g/t from 41 metres and 4 metres at 5.97 g/t from 132 metres. A resource growth update is set to take place in August incorporating these new drill results. Next on agenda TNT intends to follow up the high-grade interval in hole WRRC0106 to the north of the pit as soon as a rig can be secured. Follow up drilling is also planned at Reids Ridge, with the final program design being driven by the results from the ground array and pole-dipole IP program that is underway. Results from the recently completed aircore program at Eureka South are also due in the coming weeks with any follow-up targets resulting from these results to be included in drill programs over the remainder of the year.
