Backed by private equity, IT firm looking to acquire Albany companies

ADNET Technologies, which is based in Connecticut and has a Colonie office, was acquired by New Charter Technologies, a portfolio company of Palo Alto-based private equity firm Oval Partners. With the new backing in place, it's on the hunt for acquisitions.
