Ohio health plan startup hires Kansas City executive as its CEO

A longtime KC-area health and insurance executive has been named CEO of an Ohio health plan provider. Tim O’Brien is the top executive at Vitori Health. The company, based in Akron, helps companies plan, purchase and administer health care plans. Private equity firm BV Investment Partners announced the launch of Vitori in February.
