Biden nominates new top federal prosecutor for Cincinnati

Kenneth Parker, a veteran of the U.S. attorney's office in Cincinnati, has been nominated by President Joe Biden to lead it as the new U.S. attorney for Southern Ohio, the White House announced Tuesday. Parker will have to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. If he is, Parker will oversee several major prosecutions, including those of Cincinnati council members P.G. Sittenfeld and Jeff Pastor, who were indicted in 2020 on public corruption charges, as well as former Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder.…
