Avondale hires new top official after terminating former city manager

Avondale recently hired an Arizona official as its next city manager about nine months after it terminated the employment of Charles Montoya. Avondale City Council approved a contract in August to hire Ron Corbin as city manager. He most recently served as the city of Cottonwood's city manager for three years.
