The newest version of the Mac operating system, macOS Big Sur, is coming soon. Really soon. Big Sur is version 11, and it replaces macOS 10.15 Catalina.

There is an issue where supported resolutions are not available with new M1 Macs connected to ultrawide and super-ultrawide displays. Apple acknowledges the problem in a support document, which also states that a fix is coming soon in the form of a macOS update.
