Apple TV+ scores rights to Andy Samberg, Ben Stiller sci-fi comedy series

Apple over the weekend finalized a deal for a sci-fi comedy-drama series produced by and starring Andy Samberg, with Ben Stiller attached as a producer.

Details of the upcoming Apple TV+ original are unknown, but The Hollywood Reporter notes the project is based on an idea from "BoJack Horseman" creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg.Andy Siara, who worked with Samberg on Netflix's "Palm Springs," is set to write the script and executive produce. Recent awards show buzz over the comedy feature collaboration generated interest in the pair's as-yet-untitled sci-fi series, the report said.
