Hurricane Sally swamps US Gulf Coast with flooding and torrential rain

Over 550,000 buildings in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi have lost power. The National Guard is set to send 200 members to Alabama to help with rescue efforts, after hundreds had to be saved from flooded areas.
