Pelosi challenges archbishop’s denial of Communion over abortion rights

Following San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone's decision, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) questioned why those who support the death penalty — which also is at odds with church teaching — aren't also denied Communion.
