New COVID-19 restrictions possible if positivity rate continues to rise, Hochul says

Speaking in Western New York, a region showing a seven-day positivity rate of 8.19% as of Sunday, Hochul said "at some point, if the numbers don't start on a downward trend, we're going to have to talk about larger protocols." Long Island's seven-day positivity rate has been north of 3% recently.
