Bihar assembly elections: Showdown after lockdown

The Bihar assembly elections kick off on Wednesday in a part of the state in which RJD had done particularly well five years ago and hence has a lot at stake. Equations have changed significantly since then, with JD(U) now aligned with BJP, RJD for the first time having the entire Left on its side, and the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party of Upendra Kushwaha now out of the NDA.
