Sputnik V cleared for launch in India: Five things you need to know about Russian vaccine

Following the recommendation of the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI)'s subject expert committee, Russia's anti-Covid vaccine Sputnik V now awaits final approval from the drug regulator. Once approved, Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy's Labs will initially import the vaccine in small amounts to supply to the government.
