3.5 lakh fresh Covid cases, toll over 4k for 2nd day in a row

After remaining low for two consecutive days, fresh cases again breached the 3.5 lakh benchmark on Wednesday. Deaths also remained over 4,000 for the second day in a row. Overall, the day saw 3,62,720 cases and 4,136 Deaths. Comparable international data collated by WHO shows that for three consecutive days India has remained the largest contributor of the global caseload of fresh cases.
