After bloody face-off, uneasy calm on border; Assam police move back, CRPF at disputed site

A day after five Assam cops were killed in a border clash with allegedly armed Mizo intruders backed by police, Mizoram on Tuesday refused to budge on deployment of state forces in the disputed zone even as Assam retreated 100 metres from the site on the instructions of Union home minister Amit Shah.
