Govt nod to 15 HC judges’ transfer recommended by SC collegium

The law ministry on Tuesday notified transfer of 15 high court judges to different high courts as recommended by the Supreme Court collegium last month. On Saturday, Chief Justice of India NV Ramana had pointed out how the government had been slow in clearing names recommended for HC judges. He had said that of the 106 names recommended since May, only seven were cleared.
