Maharashtra logs 889 Covid cases and 12 deaths, lowest daily figures in 1.5 years

After registering fewer than 2,000 Covid cases for nine consecutive days, Maharashtra's Covid graph dipped further on Monday to below 1,000 for the first time this year. The 17-month low of 889 cases (after 841 cases on May 5, 2020) was accompanied along with an 18-month dip in the daily toll (12).
