Fear of impending elections: Chidambaram on government's decision to repeal farm laws

Former Union minister and Congress leader P Chidamabaram said on Friday that the government's decision to withdraw all three new farm laws is impelled by fear of elections. "What cannot be achieved by democratic protests can be achieved by the fear of impending elections!," the former finance minister said in a tweet.
