After 13 days of spike, 3% drop in new Covid cases in Mumbai

After 13 straight days of increase in daily detections, Mumbai registered a 3% drop in new cases on Saturday. It reported 20,318 fresh cases, a fall from 20,971 the previous day. Experts are perplexed as a peak or plateauing was expected only by mid-January.
