90,000 ex gratia claims against Gujarat’s Covid toll of 10,094

The number of applications seeking Covid-19 ex gratia payment of Rs 50,000 has exceeded Gujarat’s official Covid death toll of 10,094 (till January 16) by nine times, the state government has informed the Supreme Court.
