Assam: Karimganj lad to lead regiment for Republic Day parade, parents and villagers overjoyed

It was a moment of pride for the villagers of Patharkandi in Assam's Karimganj district when they heard that the son of the soil, Lieutenant Siddhartha Sinha, will command his regiment during the Republic Day parade on Rajpath in New Delhi. A second-generation officer from his family in the Army, Siddhartha started his service from November 21, 2020 and is currently posted in the 16 Madras Engineering Regiment.
