There's early indication of plateau in Covid cases: Union health ministry

The Union health ministry, at a briefing on Thursday, said, "There's an early indication of plateau in Covid-19 cases in certain geographies," adding that the trend needs to be observed, and precautions need to be followed. The government also said that Omicron sub-variant BA.2 is more prevalent in India now.
