Death for record 38, life for 11 in 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts case

It is the noose for 38 men convicted for setting of a series of bomb blasts that left Ahmedabad paralyzed, 56 people dead, and 246 people injured on July 26, 2008. The rest 11 convicts will remain in jail till they draw their last breath. In an order that ran over 7,000 pages, a special judge on Friday pronounced the unprecedented judgment, handing out the death penalty to the highest number of convicts in one case at one go.
