2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts case: PM Modi was a target of bombers

A special court on Friday sentenced 38 to death and handed over life imprisonment to 11 convicts of the 2008 serial blasts case for the specific offence of hatching a criminal conspiracy, where the convicts had planned mass killings and hatched a plot to target the then Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi.
