SC asks UP govt to respond to SIT reports seeking cancellation of Ashish Mishra's bail

The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Uttar Pradesh government to respond by April 4 on the reports of a retired judge, monitoring the SIT probe into the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case, which had sought cancellation of bail to accused Ashish Mishra. He is the prime accused in Lakhimpur violence case, where eight people lost their lives.
