'Harassed' for fees, college student ends life in Tamil Nadu

A 19-year-old physiotherapy student of a private college in Nagore ended her life on Wednesday allegedly after being harassed by her college for not paying semester fees. Her parents, who are labourers, relatives and students protested on the Nagore-Nagapattinam Road and Velankanni road on Thursday demanding arrest of the college authorities. Police have booked the college correspondent, principal and class teacher under various sections based on a complaint from her parents.
