Maharashtra political crisis: Had there been a floor test, Malik and Deshmukh could have voted

The Supreme Court on Wednesday had permitted ex-ministers Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik, both in judicial custody on laundering charges, to vote in the floor test in Maharashtra assembly that was scheduled for Thursday. However, the CM quit on Wednesday night deciding not to go in for a confidence vote.
