‘Orange alert’ in southern districts of Kerala after days of heavy rain

Southern districts of Kerala got some relief from rains even as the Met department issued an ‘Orange’ alert to eight districts in the northern part of the state. The IMD has predicted that the rains will now move to southern Karnataka.
