Karnataka tensions rise as one more attacked over Savarkar row

This happened after a youth named Prem Singh from Rajasthan was stabbed barely 200 metres from a site where two groups clashed minutes before on Monday over the display of portraits of Savarkar and Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan in Shivamogga city, 300km northwest of Bengaluru. A man named Mubarak was picked up within hours of Tuesday’s attack after Kumar complained about him, Shivamogga SP BM Laxmi Prasad said.
