Now, demand for new gurdwara law in Punjab

Akal Purakh ki Fauj, a prominent Sikh body, has suggested the formation of Punjab's own gurdwara act and reorganisation of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) under the law so made, in line with what was done earlier by the Punjab legislative council in 1920s.
