BJP ‘battle ready’ for Uttar Pradesh civic polls

UP BJP chief Bhupendra Chaudhary said the party was “battle ready” and “would not concede any ground” to the opposition in the ULB polls. He claimed the party would perform better than 2017 elections when it had won 14 out of 16 mayoral seats and got majority in Nagar Palika Parishad (NPP) and Nagar Panchayat (NP) seats. This time, the mayoral seats have increased to 17 with the addition of Shahjahanpur.
