Sikkim wants a baby boom, offers rewards to women

Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang aims to incentivise childbirth among indigenous communities to combat declining fertility rates in the country’s least populous state, proposing a special increment to women employees giving birth to a second baby and two increments for a third child.
