ASI tried to kill Odisha minister 5 times in 2 weeks: Police

The Odisha police officer who fatally shot state health minister Naba Kisore Das last Sunday had been looking for an opportunity to attack him on five occasions in the past fortnight before coming close enough to fire two rounds at his target in Jharsuguda’s Brajarajnagar, the crime branch claimed Tuesday.
