Warm February depletes Gomti to May-like levels, raises red flag for water scarcity in Lucknow

The water level of Gomti river has dropped 1.4 feet below the normal 346.7 feet due to the extreme weather conditions - no winter rains and unusually high temperatures in February - being witnessed during spring this year.
