Man held for raping 2-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh

A 30-year-old man was arrested following a police "encounter" on Wednesday for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district. The parents of the toddler had filed an FIR in the matter late on Tuesday night.
