Daily Covid cases hit 210-day high; week's deaths rise to 29

Covid-19 infections and deaths continued to rise in the country, with 1,890 fresh cases reported on Saturday, the highest in 210 days. Cases have risen by 78% in the last seven days as compared with the previous seven while the country reported 29 deaths during the period, up from 19.
