Avalanche in Uttarakhand blocks road to China border, 7 villages cut off

An avalanche at Laukhung Nala in Darma Valley of Dharchula Tehsil on Sunday blocked the road leading to the China border, cutting off seven villages and several security posts from the rest of the country. Locals said some tourists are trapped in the affected areas.
