400 Telugu pilgrims stranded on Rishikesh- Badrinath NH

Hundreds of Telugu pilgrims are stranded on Rishikesh-Badrinath national highway due to incessant rain and landslides in Uttarakhand in the last two days. Road traffic on the highway was suspended as a precautionary measure fearing more landslides on the ghat road. Local officials said the traffic will be restored once the boulders on the arterial road are cleared.
