Ex-Armyman returns Shaurya Chakra to protest W S’bhum admin’s response

A retired Armyman in Jamshedpur returned his Shaurya Chakra medal to the government as a protest against the district administration's failure to address the issue of illegal parking near his house. Md Javed, a former warrant officer, claimed that the parking of vehicles near his house was causing disturbance and had given multiple representations to the administration. Upset with no response, he staged a sit-in before the sub-division officer's office and ultimately decided to return the medal until justice is done. The administration has asked him to submit a written complaint.
