Amid Cash for query controversy, Mahua Moitra given organisational responsibilities in TMC

Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has been appointed as the district president of Krishnanagar (Nadia North) in West Bengal. This move by the TMC is seen as a show of support for Moitra, who is currently facing expulsion from Lok Sabha due to a cash-for-query controversy. The party has also made changes in leadership in other districts, including Birbhum and Murshidabad, where new presidents have been appointed.
