Space PSU NSIL set to get 3 more in-orbit satellites from Isro

Space PSU NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) is set to receive three additional satellites, GSAT-11, 19, and 29, from Isro, in order to lease out transponders. The transfer of these satellites, which are high throughput satellites primarily used for broadband connectivity, will require government approval. This transfer follows the previous transfer of 10 communication satellites from Isro to NSIL. The ownership of these satellites will provide NSIL with the financial autonomy to undertake capital-intensive projects and create employment opportunities, in line with the Centre's Space reforms.
