Seat-sharing need of the hour, says West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee; to skip INDIA meet

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stated that only pre-poll seat-sharing by INDIA bloc parties could prevent BJP from returning to office in 2024. She mentioned that she would not be attending the bloc's meeting in Delhi as she was not informed earlier. Banerjee criticized the Congress's electoral strategy and highlighted the role of vote-splitters in helping BJP win seats. She also mentioned that the Centre used agencies to destroy opposition morale. Trinamool MPs Sudip Bandyopadhyay and Derek O'Brien attended a meeting of the bloc to decide on a joint floor strategy for the winter session.
