We are concerned, extremists outside India should not get space, says EAM Jaishankar

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar expressed concern over the vandalization of a Hindu temple in California and stated that the matter had been brought to the attention of local authorities. The Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple in Newark, California, was defaced with graffiti, including the word 'Khalistan.' The Consulate General of India in San Francisco condemned the incident. Jaishankar also discussed the arrest of Nikhil Gupta, who is accused of planning to kill a Khalistan leader, and stated that India has provided consular access to him thrice.
