'Ab ki baar char sau paar': BJP sets itself Lok Sabha target

Confident of a better performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, BJP has set itself a stiff target and coined a slogan, 'Teesri Baar Modi Sarkar, Ab Ki Baar Char Sau Paar' (Modi government for the third time with over 400 seats). In the 2019 elections, BJP secured 303 seats on its own and, along with its NDA allies, had 353 seats. In the 2014 polls, BJP won 282 seats and the NDA had 336. A party functionary said the slogan was finalised in a meeting on Tuesday.
