Parliament sets new practice of Sengol procession ahead of President's address

President Droupadi Murmu entered the new Parliament Building escorted by Jagdeep Dhankhar and Om Birla with an official carrying the 'Sengol'. Rajeev Sharma, a senior Marshal in the Lok Sabha, removed the Sengol and walked in a procession with Birla, Pralhad Joshi, Utpal Kumar Singh, and P C Mody.
