Crook cooks up threat to freeze account in Bengaluru, cheats film director of Rs 3 lakh

A Sandalwood director was scammed of Rs 3 lakh by a fraudster impersonating a Maharashtra police officer for 'verifying bank transactions'. The police are investigating the case and trying to freeze the fraudster's account.
