Shares of Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) are rising over 13% in pre-market today, after the company announced it has identified a coronavirus vaccine candidate, NVX-CoV2373, a stable, prefusion protein made using Novavax' proprietary nanoparticle technology, and would initiate a first-in-human trial in mid-May.
