Is Uber Afraid of a DoorDash IPO?

Last Monday, Uber (NYSE: UBER) bought the food delivery startup Postmates for $2.65 million in stock. This purchase is a big step for Uber, making it a leader in a market that’s expected to reach $154.34 billion by 2023. However, it won’t be easy for Uber to gain this lead, as it has big competition from DoorDash.
