Arab league, Finland talk mobilizing support for Palestinians

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Cairo, April 7 (Petra) -- Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit and Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto Wednesday held talks on regional developments and means to mobilize international support for the Palestinian Authorities (PA), and the Mideast peace process. The pan-Arab organization said the meeting that took place in Cairo focused on bolstering the European-Arab cooperation to help the Libyan parties to bring about peace through political dialogue. The top diplomats discussed the developments in the African Horn, as they highlighted the need to boost cooperation between the European Union and the Arab League to uphold peace and security in that African Horn.
